I don't particularly find it offensive either

But neither do I understand what she's doing.

"I think this is my way of slowing down and paying homage to these animals," she explained. "I don't particularly find it offensive, but I understand why some people who don't understand what I'm doing could find it that way."

This is a new spin in the Ann Coulter "I'm-sorry-that-you-took-offense-at- the-perfectly-innocent-thing-I-said" school of apologies. Another issue to pursue, of course, is this proud Purdue grad's implication that sometimes artists find their own work offensive. Do they? I know they often make it intentionally provocative--or intentionally offensive to others, but do artists get offended by their own work? A real question that I'm considering.

Did she ever think some passing motorist may think it was a human and possibly cause an accident fatal to a human driver? Not a very bright way to express one self, I don't think. She should probably be arrested for creating a traffic hazard, not applauded or debated as an artist. The dudes setting off fireworks around Boston thought it was just art also.
